Position Summary

Notal Vision is looking for an electro-optical system engineer to join the R&D team. The system engineer will be leading the development of the electro-optical modules, will define and develop testing equipment and procedures and will assist to define manufacturing procedures towards mass production

Specific Duties

• Defines and leads the development of electro-optical system and modules and components within the system
• Defines and leads the design and development of electro-optical tester
• Incorporates methods for maintenance and repair of components and designs
• Develops test instrumentation and test procedures
• Confers with engineering and technical personnel regarding fabrication and testing of prototype systems, and modifies design as required
• Builds and validates electro-optical setups in the lab and transfer them to production
• Assists the manufacturing group in developing the manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication processes

Requirements

• Mechanical engineer Bsc, Electrical Bsc, Physics with experience in imaging devices
• Experience in development and integration of multi-disciplinary system (mechanics, optics, electronics, SW)
• Experience defining and testing optical components and modules
• Experience in Optical Coherence Tomography or White Light interferometry , advantage
• Experienced in Zemax
• Experienced in Matlab or Python
• Experience in working with international vendors
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English
