Position Summary

Notal Vision is looking for a process development engineer to join the R&D team. The process development engineer will define processes related to the various aspects of the product, electronics, telecommunication, mechanics, optics, algorithm, embedded software and MMI, and lead the V&V procedures towards mass production

Specific Duties

• Defines, designs and executes multi-disciplinary integration processes, related to the Notal Home OCT device, including mechanics, optics, electro-optics and electronics
• Defines and leads the design of various assembly jigs
• Designs the validation plan for the process
• Works with the manufacturing group to collect requirements and then implements the process
• Leads the V&V efforts according to medical standards
• Serves as a focal point between R&D and manufacturing
• Assists the manufacturing group with development of manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication processes

Requirements

• Mechanical engineer or equivalent with experience in opto-mechanical assemblies
• At least 2 years in a similar position
• Experience in definition and execution of system level and module level assembly instruction and testing instructions
• Experience in integration and lab testing
• Experience in working according to international standards, medical standard - an advantage
